Hey everyone, I'm starting this blog in order to help my fellow DIY-ers with some helpful tips on their home projects. I have been doing home repairs for over 20 years now. Back when I started, a lot of people weren't interested in doing thing themselves. Thankfully, since then, there has been a big movement towards ‘green’ projects to take care of the environment. Sure, people had some knowledge that the Earth was hurting. After all, the hole in the Ozone layer was a big story as well as Earth Day. But not too many people believed in doing things themselves.
A lot of people complain that they don’t have time to do things themselves. Well, I’ll tell you what, I worked a desk job for the past fifteen years and I have rebuilt many portions of my house and constructed an organic farm on half an acre of land. All you have to do is remind yourself of the importance of what you are doing. If you feel good about it, then you won’t think of it as a chore. Doing small things can make a big impact on the planet. Using recyclable materials might be more expensive short-term but learn term the savings are vast.
